The University Registrar manages a complex organization and provides leadership and oversight for all operational, personnel, policy, and information technologies within the office and serves as a key leader within the EMSS division. The University Registrar provides information and actionable data to shape institutional and divisional discussions, trends, policies, processes, and strategic practices in support and advancement of the academic mission. The position provides leadership and oversight to all aspects of the Office of the University Registrar including data integrity, operational efficiency, registration, both course scheduling and classroom scheduling and utilization, athletic eligibility for an NCAA Division I program, grade processing, University degree requirements and degree audit/certification, academic record maintenance and release, transcript processing, transfer credit evaluation and articulation, curriculum and bulletin management, and active support of the student information system and other ancillary software. The University Registrar serves Miami University as the student record data steward and is responsible for FERPA management in relation to all student record data. This position is eligible for remote work on a hybrid basis. Remote work is not a right, but a working arrangement that can be modified or revoked by Miami University at any time for any reason.
