Job Summary:

Provide support to Miami University podcasting by facilitating a variety of programing,
production, and promotional responsibilities. This role will also help improve efficiency and
quality of all podcasts, and help increase engagement via campus-wide outreach and peer-to-peer networking with both college students and university organizations.

Essential Duties:

The responsibilities of
this role will include:
• Assist in the creation, production, and management of all podcast content
• Help identify new guests, coordinate interviews, and develop regular recording schedules
• Help brainstorm creative content for new episodes and promotional strategies
• Assist with the writing and proofreading of show notes and transcripts
• Perform quality control reviews on the final versions of all episodes and related content
• Acquire feedback and gauge campus/audience interest around topics and ideas
• Attend weekly meetings to discuss podcast goals and progress

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Excited to meet new people and to network with peers
Enthusiastic interest in communications, media, digital marketing, and/or podcasting
Previous media, copywriting, audio and/or video production experience a plus
