As a member of the Armstrong Student Center Board, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the student experience, ensuring that the center remains a welcoming, dynamic, and student-focused hub. This esteemed leadership opportunity allows you to collaborate with university administrators, advocate for student needs, and make a lasting impact on one of Miami’s most cherished spaces—the living room of campus. The Armstrong Student Center Board is not a programming board, but serves as an advisory board, offering advice, counsel and strategic recommendations.

Eligibility
Graduating in May 2027 or later
In good academic standing
Open to graduate or undergraduate students on the Oxford campus
The standing meeting time for the Armstrong Student Center Board is Wednesdays at 6-7:30 p.m. (bi-weekly). All members must be able to attend in order to serve on the board.
Board members are expected to serve a two-year term.
Selection Timeline and Process
The applications are due by April 1, 2025. Eligible candidates will be invited to participate in a 15 minute face-to-face interview. Notifications will be made on or before Friday, April 11, 2025.
