Red Zone

• All Red Zone games can be checked out from the equipment desk in the Red Zone. 
• A valid Miami ID must be presented to receive the games.
• Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Failure to return or theft of equipment may result in loss of Red Zone gaming privileges and/or a replacement fee.
• Equipment must remain inside the Red Zone. Do not leave equipment unattended.
• Notify Red Zone staff of any damages at first notice.

Events applying for the grant must meet the following criteria:

• Free and open to the entire Miami community.
• Organization must be registered and in good standing with the university.
• Grant applications must be submitted at least one month prior to the event date.
• Intended for creative events that use the space in an innovative way. Not intended for recurring events / traditional organization meetings.

• Create programming and coordinate details with the rest of the student organization and the Armstrong Student Center team.
• Meet/communicate with the ASC team to talk through program details.
• Host the program and provide necessary volunteers to help with any related set-up, tear-down, and other event needs.
• Utilize funds to purchase programming supplies (decor, food, prizes, etc.).
• Promote and advertise the event to the Miami community. Examples include: digital half-screen ad, banners, and social media posts.

• Provide up to $200 to the requesting student organization.
• Reserve Red Zone and coordinates reservation logistics.
• Help promote and advertise the event to the Miami community.

1. Submit a Red Zone programming grant application at least one month prior to the event. Applications should include a clear, concise budget and marketing plan.
2. The Assistant Director of Student Engagement and a member of the ASC student engagement team are responsible for reviewing and processing requests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Five events will be approved a semester.
3. After review, the student organization will receive a memo indicating that the request has been approved or not approved.
4. If approved, the organization must work with Armstrong Student Center administration team to obtain the appropriate accounting information. If the event has been canceled or funds are not used, the funds will need to be returned to or will be retained by the Armstrong Student Center.

All events must follow all Armstrong Student Center building and events policies, and university policies.
