Regional Assistant Director for Career Development in various locations
Middletown, OH and Hamilton, OH Work collaboratively with the Career Services & Professional Development director and staff to deliver career coaching services and programs strategically devised for students of the Miami University Regionals campuses. Conduct career coaching appointments to assist students with career exploration, and choosing a major or career path; plan/implement career development programs (e.g., Career Communities, Meet the Majors); provide in-class presentations; and prepare students for successful job search readiness prior to graduation. Serve as a liaison to faculty and staff regarding career development programming and events; assist with planning, and/or implementation of career development events (e.g., career fairs, major’s expo, career communities, and etiquette dinners). Enhance individualized career development for all students on the Miami Regionals campuses; prepare students for successful job searches that align with their career goals. Position reports to the Regional Director of Career Services & Professional Development.

This position is for a student assistant at the MUH Tutoring and Learning Center. Student Assistants are stationed at the front desk to answer calls and help both clients and coworkers with questions related to the Center. Hired applicants will also have the opportunity to work at the Middletown campus as well.
