GradU8 Scholars Learning Partner - Student Assistant

The Student Success Center seeks to hire approximately 5 GradU8 Learning Partners to serve during Fall term 2024. Each GradU8 Learning Partner will be assigned a cohort of first-year students (appx. 15-20) participating in the GradU8 Scholars program whom they will support in a teacher-mentor capacity. The GradU8 Scholars program selects a limited number of students based on their admission profile for a special opportunity to graduate in four years while having access to a variety of benefits and supports. The Partner will commit to working five hours per week throughout the fall semester: Attend a class meeting ranging from 1-2 hours on Monday evening, hold at least one office hour, complete a one-hour training, prepare classroom materials, and communicate outside of class with the assigned cohort via technology. Initial training will occur in May 2024. Training is required and paid time.
