The Assistant Director works collaboratively with students, campus partners, community leaders, and departments to provide students with the opportunity to engage with communities of interest and develop a sense of belonging. The Assistant Director works with the entire Center and other colleagues to develop and implement opportunities for students to understand their leadership skills and how they can use them to positively impact the community. The Assistant Director represents the Center through multiple campus committees that support the leadership, service, and civic engagement mission of the Wilks Institute. The Assistant Director also fosters close working relationships with campus partners, community partners, and community-based organizations.
