Job Summary:

The Production Assistant will work closely with the Career Center’s Associate Director of Marketing and Communications to maintain and update the website, print, instructional, and promotional materials; attend Career Center programs and workshops to provide photography for various programs and events produced by the Career Center as well as professional shots for social media and career-focused platforms such as Handshake and LinkedIn profiles; and edit applicable photography. The selected student will work with the Operations and Communications team under the supervision of the Director of Operations and Communications.

Essential Duties:

- Update Career Center website by editing the HTML code
- Update educational publications using various desktop publishing applications
- Assist with/create new content for the Career Center website, publications, multimedia, and social media channels
- Shoot photos at Career Center-sponsored programming
- Provide photo editing

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidates will be:
- undergraduate students;
- detail-oriented, outgoing, innovative, and able to adhere to deadlines;
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- possess a willingness to attend CCES-hosted events to gather content.

Technical Skills
Applicants should be skilled in HTML editing, CSS, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, iPhoto, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Word and be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies, and have an understanding of web usability and accessibility standards. Applicants should also have a thorough understanding of a digital camera and be able to use all functions properly.
