Associate Dean - Humanities

Job Summary:

Associate Dean of Humanities to assist the Dean in the instructional, research, and service missions of the College at 80% time with remaining duties in the home department/program. The position will begin July 1, 2024.

Duties/Physical Demands:

Duties of the Associate Dean are to serve as the primary liaison to the humanities departments and their faculty, students and alumni and additional roles assigned as needed by the Dean.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be tenured, Full Professors in the College of Arts and Science with their primary assignment on the Oxford campus and hold an earned doctorate in their discipline.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to applicants from the Humanities area of the College; with significant administrative experience, and a record of excellence in teaching and scholarship.
