Job Summary: |
Design & implement strength, speed (mechanics) conditioning (concepts) & variety of recovery techniques for assigned intercollegiate athletic teams. This position specifically supports the mission of the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics by assisting in institutional compliance with NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.

Duties/Physical Demands: |
Duties include, but are not limited to: - Scientific based development of Individual & Team Specific programs, which aid in correction of movement patterns, increased physical durability & overall athletic performance (Speed Agility Plyometric Training, Strength Training, Mobility-Flexibility Training, and sound conditioning exercises) for teams assigned. - Assist in overall growth & implementation of Human Performance & Wellness standards throughout the department - Assist with Nutritional education, needs & distribution of product (assist with ordering for nutrition station(s)) - Assist / oversee in maintaining & scheduling of strength and conditioning facility(s) and equipment. - Assist with Student intern development & management - Attending necessary sport staff meetings as designated by the Head Coaches. - Assist Human Performance Staff in covering other team/Individual workouts when necessary. - Knowledge in use of Excel, Word or other technology for development & tracking of Athlete(s) programs-progress. - Participating in ICA department activities, including service on committees and attendance at all scheduled meetings - committed to the direction of the athletic department. - Maintaining knowledge and ensure compliance with NCAA, NCHA, MAC and University rules and regulations, that apply to the areas of strength and conditioning. - Maintaining / increase knowledge & CEU’s for all certifications required - All Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline Minimum of 1 Year of Strength and Conditioning College Coaching Experience CSCS or SCCC Certified CPR/AED Certified

Desired Qualifications: |
Master's degree in related discipline Experience &/or background with Swim & Dive, Baseball, Softball Experience with FMS &/or DARI usage

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and promote an inclusive work environment. Possess increased knowledge of speed, agility and quickness training. Knowledge with wearable monitoring technology.
