Essential Duties: |
Assist in establishing and maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating environment for the children. Assist in the daily operations of the classroom/center. Assume an equal share of the housekeeping responsibilities of the staff. Maintain daily schedules as well as assisting in the implementation of daily, weekly and monthly curriculum plans in the classroom. Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families and staff at all times. Design and implement a classroom activity or and assist the lead teacher with a documentation panel. Supervise the children at all times while maintaining Campus Kids staff/child ratios at all times. Interact with the children in accordance with developmentally appropriate practices. Attend staff meetings and staff trainings. Treat all children, families and staff with dignity and respect Assist in observations, documentation and assessment of the children in the classroom. Upon hire, will be current in all State of Ohio rules regarding employment working with children. Must be able to pass a State of Ohio fingerprint criminal background check.
