Job Summary:

FBS Marketing Content Creators will create engaging video content that generates user engagement as well as positive sentiment for our areas: Miami Rec, Goggin, Dining, The Marcum, Event Services, and more! As part of the digital marketing team, you will work collaboratively with these areas to create video content that speaks to their culture and Miami student culture.

Essential Duties:

- Report to the Content Marketing Manager.
- Create engaging videos for Instagram Reels.
- Write copy to assist in the completion of a monthly content calendar.
- Research trends and social media best practices.
- Save audios on various platforms for video use.
- Collaborate with other students to gather User Generated Content.
- Work with the accounts to create content that brings in positive sentiment.
-Work a minimum of 10 hours per week with occasional nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Sensitive to cultural diversity and ability to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
- Accuracy, dependability, and confidentiality are critical.
- Ability to meet expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic, customer-oriented environment.
- Be able to work independently, possess good organization skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Content Portfolio of successful social media content.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Flexibility to create content in the evenings or on weekends if needed.
- Experience in managing business social media accounts is preferred but not required.
- Undergraduate student at Miami University with a focus in marketing, communications, or a similar field.
- In good academic standing.
- College work-study eligibility.
