Salary/Grade: $12.50 - $14.00 / hr
Hours per Week: 10-40

Job Summary:

The Regional E-Campus Outreach and Programming Summer Program Leadership Academy Specialist will manage E-Campus Outreach and Programming Leadership Academy participants, including training, and mentoring in the STEAM Studio summer day camp.

Essential Duties:

-Manage E-Campus Outreach and Programming Leadership Academy participants, including training, and mentoring.
-Monitor and assess the training and work-quality of Leadership Academy participants
-Supervise, instruct, and manage participants at all times while programming is occurring
-Provide timely coaching feedback for Leadership Academy participants
-Assist in providing feedback and the collection of data to provide assessment of program effectiveness, analyzing results and making recommendations for improvement for future events and program design.
-Participate in program evaluation activities to inform recruitment and retention of program participants.
-Represent E-Campus at University events.
-Help plan and assess the effectiveness of content plans for social media.
-Assist in the planning of photos and video shoots.
-Enhances program, department, and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
-Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
-Successful experience mentoring, managing, or leading others.
-Willingness to serve as a positive youth role model
-Successful experience mentoring youth and managing the behavior of camp participants.
-Customer service skills; including the ability to demonstrate conflict resolution, creativity, problem-solving, and time management skills
-Responsible for inclusion of all participants despite individual needs
-Ability to take initiative and prioritize work while ensuring a safe activity space
-Experience in teaching new skills to staff and/or participants
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating technical information in terms understandable for middle-school-aged participants
-Ability to take initiative and prioritize work while overseeing multiple activities simultaneously.
-Ability and willingness to learn new skills; adapt to new technology and work independently with minimal supervision.
-Physical demands include frequent walking as well as long periods of standing both indoors and outdoors.
-Must be available May 30th - August 2, 2024, at minimum..
- Applicants recommended for hire must pass a state of Ohio criminal background check.
