Job Summary:


Assisting with various marketing tasks for Finance and Business Services Marketing, representing multiple departments including: Campus Services Center, Recreation, Goggin Ice Center, Human Resources, Dining and Catering, Brick and Ivy, Marcum Hotel and Conference Center, MUPD, Office of Sustainability, and Conference and Event Services. This posting has three job “areas;" one area will be assigned based on applicant skill level and interest.

Essential Duties:

Graphic Design
- Create graphic design artwork (print, social, and digital) using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Work with the Finance and Business Services creative team on design work that aligns with the Miami Brand.

Production
- Assist in the print shop including production, finishing, and delivering marketing collateral using in-house large format printers.
- Help manage intake of marketing collateral with Print Production Manager, manage and organize orders for campus name tags.

General Marketing/Surveying
- In-person peer-to-peer surveying throughout various dining locations on campus; comfortable asking questions and recording feedback.
- Drafting compelling stories for newsletters such as Cornerstone, a quarterly department newsletter.
- Analyze survey results and other metrics as needed.
- Attend special events and miscellaneous marketing initiatives during regular office hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently enrolled Miami University student.
Graphic Design: knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, working independently.
Production: comfortable lifting items up to 25 lbs.
Willingness to work with a creative team.
Willingness to work and learn marketing in a professional setting.
