| Job Summary: |
The Hamilton campus Career Services & Professional Development (CSPD) department is looking to hire student assistants for the 2023-24 academic year. Student assistants will provide front line customer service for the department and assist CSPD staff with general office support.

| Essential Duties: |
- Customer service - answer incoming calls, greet and assist visitors (students/staff/faculty/community)
- Office Support - clerical functions, marketing (posting flyers/placing A-frame signs)
- Events - assist with preparation and day of needs
- Other duties as assigned to meet departmental needs
|
| Minimum Qualifications: |
- Enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours at Miami University each academic term working
- Minimum GPA of 2.0
- Minimum 18 years old
- Confidentiality is a must to comply with federal privacy laws
- Reliable and dependable
- Must be appropriately dressed to represent a professional environment
- Will work around students course schedules, but must have some availability Monday-Friday 10:00AM-4:00PM
- Appropriate verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and from verbal or written instructions
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to periodically lift 25 pounds
