Job Summary:

The position will support the department's priorities to increase accessibility to course content, engage and support online students, and provide technical support to the campus community.
Work performed is complex and requires in-house training. Duties include mentoring and leadership of fellow student workers. Work is done independently of supervision.

Essential Duties:

Learn all aspects of E-Campus messaging and academic programs in order to communicate with outside offices and the community.
Coordinate and execute identified E-Campus community outreach events and programs (ie. Youth Summer STEAM, Campus Visits, SOARs, off-site community events).
Collect data to provide assessment of program effectiveness, analyzing results and making recommendations for improvement for future events and program design.
Represent E-Campus at University events.
Help plan and assess effectiveness of content plan for social media.
Create graphics for use in internal marketing and social media.
Assist in planning of photo and video shoots.
Complete PDF remediation, closed-captioning, and other accessibility work.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Customer service skills; including diplomatically, patiently, and successfully handling questions, problems, and suggestions to generate solutions with diverse populations.
Ability to take initiative and prioritize work while advancing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating technical information in terms understandable to the diverse audiences.
Ability and willingness to learn new skills; adapt to new technology and work independently with minimal supervision.
Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
Physical demands include the frequent walking as well as long periods of standing both indoors and outdoors.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Self-starter with exceptional time management skills, attention to detail, and dedication to quality
Desire and ability to learn more, try something new, and embrace change.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Advanced computer skills (Adobe, Google Drive, Data Analytics, Web Design, etc.)
Graphic design, web design, or video production skills.
Presentation skills.
