Job Title: Digital Services Student Associate
Salary/Grade:

8.70/hr - 9.80/hr

Job Summary:

Our Student Associates are important members of the communications, marketing and events team. The Digital Services team in University Advancement at Miami is seeking a Student Associate to help with the development and implementation of digital content.

Duties/Physical Demands:

Tasks include but are not limited to:

General website updates using iModules content management system
Update event page copy details
Upload and place images
Update news story copy

Email creation and approval using iModules email marketing tools
Ensure all details in sender name, sender subject and sender email are correct
Use provided edited copy and place in email template or insert correct event copy from
event feed
Send email out to staff members for approval
Run a query for email recipients or insert data list

Data entry
Create class notes entries on alumni profiles

Compile email and web analytics as needed
Run email analytic reports through iModules reporting system
Run Google analytics on webpages
Compile results in Excel

Work collaboratively with the digital and creative team members in University Advancement

Minimum Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to work on assignments independently and quickly in a time-sensitive environment.
Have an understanding of grammar and editing.
Ability to take direction and work as a team member.
Must be a self-starter, proactive and detail oriented.

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of HTML.
Experience in Content Management Systems.
Working knowledge of Adobe products.

Interactive Media Studies
Strategic Communication
Marketing
