Job Summary: |
Global Initiatives seeks an innovative, creative, and self-motivated student to assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communications for all areas within our office. The Communications and Marketing Specialist will have the opportunity to create content pertaining to education abroad, international students, national fellowships, and other areas impacting campus internationalization in a variety of media (e.g. social media, new writing, web content development, graphic design, videography, photography). |
Essential Duties: |
Duties will include, but are not limited to: Design, create, write, and edit content for both print and electronic media; Assist in the development and maintenance of social media platforms and campaigns, primarily Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube; Assist with event planning, promotion, and documentation of Global Initiatives events; Other office tasks as needed. |
Minimum Qualifications: | Strong written communication skills; familiarity with social media platforms; sincere interest in gaining communications and marketing experience in a professional setting. |
