Job Title: Director of Women's Basketball Operations
Hours Per Week:

Job Summary:

To oversee the operational aspects of the Women’s Basketball program consistent with the policies of Miami University, the NCAA, and other appropriate governing bodies (i.e. Mid-American Conference). This position reports to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

This position specifically supports the mission of the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics by assisting in institutional compliance with NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.

Duties/Physical Demands:

Participates in the administration and organization of the Women's Basketball program to include:
• Direct on-campus recruiting visits including travel arrangements, schedule.
• Working Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff on player development.
• Synergy Film Exchange
• Direct all aspects of Team Travel (bus, hotels, meals, airfare, practice arrangements, etc..)
• Direct arrangements for team during break periods within the University calendar.
• Organize all coach and player ticket requests
• Assist Athletic Marketing staff with promotion of the program to increase attendance
• Coordinate all team Community Relations efforts
• Direct the organization and direction of all Women’s Basketball camps and clinics
• Assist with logistics of practice, practice squad, and managers
• Coordinate team study table hours with academic support staff
• Special Event Planning, as needed
• Responsible for budget management
• Staff liaison to administration
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head Coach

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Demonstrated experience working or playing in basketball or other related field

Desired Qualifications:

1. Master's Degree
2. College Coaching Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated knowledge of basic NCAA rules
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and promote an inclusive work environment
