Job Summary: |
Peer Navigators work specifically with the Academic Success Coach through the Tutoring and Learning Center to provide peer support to first year students who are taking UNV 101 I Am Miami courses. |
Essential Duties: |
- Collaborating with an assigned UNV 101 instructor on peer needs within the class. |
Minimum Qualifications: |
- Student must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.5 and must have completed at least one semester at the Regionals campuses. |
Special Instructions to Applicants: |
Applicants must submit a resume and at least two references. One reference should be from a previous employer or manager (if the student has prior work experience), and the other reference should be from a professor. If the applicant has no previous work experience, both references may be from a professor or staff member. |
