Job Summary:

The Department of Global and Intercultural Studies (GIC) is looking for friendly, outgoing, and highly motivated students to assist at the front desk of our department office in MacMillian Hall. The position will allow students to gain experience working with a diverse cohort of faculty, staff, and students along with valuable experience in an office environment and the exception of administrative tasks/projects.

Essential Duties: 

Duties will include, but are not limited to: Assisting students, faculty/staff, and community members who visit the department. Duties will include manning the department's central desk and phone line, filing, data entry, photocopying, scanning, organizing office materials, running errands on campus, and other duties as assigned. Applicants must be available to work at least 6-12 hours a week.

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent communication and organizational skills, customer service experience. Experience working with a diverse group of constituents.
