Job Summary: |
The American Red Cross Coordinator will assist the Aquatics Program Director(s) with the administration of American Red Cross Courses. Graduate students with an assistantship and Teaching Associates need to obtain permission from the Graduate School to work in addition to their teaching/assistantship. |
Essential Duties: |
The American Red Cross Coordinator works with the full time Aquatic staff to develop training plans and in services to enhance the Undergraduate American Red Cross Instructors teaching skills and mentor new Instructors as well as teach a number of American Red Cross classes each semester. |
Minimum Qualifications: |
Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer (LGIT) and / or American |
