SANE of Butler County

Sexual assault nurse examiners (SANE) are registered nurses who have completed specialized forensic training in the care and treatment of sexual and domestic assault victims

SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners) of Butler County is dedicated to promoting and providing the prompt, ethical, and appropriate medico-legal examination and treatment of patients in cases of reported sexual assault. TriHealth has the Center for Abuse and Rape Emergency Services (CARES) which is a TriHealth program staffed by SANE-trained registered nurses. The CARES program offers services to victims of sexual assault, elder abuse, and domestic violence.
