U-Lead
U-Lead is a four-day pre-semester program for incoming first year students who are interested in learning about various leadership styles and how leadership can guide their Miami experience. The U-Lead curriculum utilizes Gallup CliftonStrengths and their framework, "Name it, Claim it, Aim it" as an anchor to explore several leadership models and their Top 5 Talent Themes.

Program Highlights
Participants will learn to:
- Recognize individual capacity for leadership and begin to develop a personal leadership style.
- Describe personal leadership definition and better recognize alternative definitions of leadership within the U-Lead group.
- Build community with peers and mentors, establishing an inclusive network to support students in their transition to Miami.
- Consider opportunities for continued leadership development at Miami that align with personal values.
