Meet the Dietitians

Julie Vasilak, M.A., RDN, LD, joined Miami University as the senior registered dietitian. She manages the needs and provides education for student-athletes, offers counseling and guidance to Miami students, and assists with overseeing allergy management in the residence dining commons.

Julie has been a registered dietitian since 2018 and has worked in the health and wellness industry since 2012, focusing on her background in exercise science. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, going to sporting events, and spending time outdoors. Julie's favorite thing is having a cup of coffee on the porch.

Kathy Adams, Ph.D., M.S., M.P.H., RDN, LD, joined Miami University as a campus dietitian. She provides nutrition counseling and guidance to Miami students. Kathy is responsible for allergy management within Miami’s residential and retail dining spaces.

Kathy is a registered dietitian trained in public health as well as nutritional sciences. She returns to Miami where she previously taught as a professor of business for seven years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three children and friends. Her favorite thing is reading and traveling. Her favorite places are all in Montana.

Boston Osborne, RDN, LD, joined Miami University as a campus dietitian. She meets with students to empower informed food choices, collaborates with the culinary team on allergen management, and promotes balanced eating habits.

Boston has been a registered dietitian since 2019 and brings her expertise in medical nutrition therapy and counseling to this role. In her free time she enjoys trying new restaurants, reading, and going for walks with her dog, Mango.
