Concessions Fundraising Opportunities

Who qualifies to become a fundraiser group?

  • Nonprofit organizations
  • Organization/group affiliated with the university such as a club, fraternity, or sorority
  • *Each group must have a tax ID # to be eligible
  • *All participating members must be 18 years of age or older

Great Earning Potential for Your Group

  • 15% commission on gross sales per stand, plus tips
  • Payouts can be made by check or direct deposit to your group

Opportunities

Football

General Information

What is it like fundraising at football games? - This is working in a concession stand manned only by the group. *One organization per stand.

  • Saturday games: minimum 5-6 hours of commitment
  • Tuesday games: about 4 hours of commitment
  • Attendance is required 2.5 hours prior to game time for setup and preparation
  • Stands open 1.5 hours prior to each game
  • Standard shutdown of stands starts after the third quarter
  • Duties include:
    • Running registers
    • Filling orders
    • Prepping the stand
    • Restocking

Hockey

Each stand requires 12 people

What is it like fundraising at hockey games? - This is working in a concession stand manned only by the group.

  • 4 hours time commitment per game by all members
  • Attendance is required 2 hours prior to the start of the game
  • Duties include:
    • Running registers
    • Filling orders
    • Food prep
    • Stand prep and teardown

Men's Basketball

Each stand requires 6 people

What is it like fundraising at basketball games? - This is working in a concession stand manned only by the group. 

  • 3-3.5 hours time commitment per game by all members
  • Attendance is required 2 hours prior to start of the game
  • Teardown begins 10 minutes into the second half of the game
  • Duties include:
    • Setup/teardown and cleanup
    • Running registers
    • Filling orders
