Job Summary:

Assisting in various marketing tasks for Campus Services units include: Housing, Recreation, Food & Beverage, Retail, Mail & Package Center, Marcum Hotel & Conference Center, Conference & Event Services, and Miami Catering. This position has multiple “areas" that will be assigned based on applicant skill level and interest.

Essential Duties:

Graphic design of digital and print collateral using Adobe Creative Suite on both Mac & PC platforms.
Attend special events outside of regular office hours.
Print Production:
Production, finishing, and delivery of marketing collateral using in-house digital and large format printer.s
Attend special events outside of regular office hours.
Social Media/Journalism:
Frequently and consistently manage information for social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
Curating well-written articles for industry magazines and area-run blogs (such as
Manage email lists and create email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact (or similar program).
Attend special events outside of regular office hours.
General Marketing:
Assist with general sales and marketing functions as needed.
Research industry trends to identify new opportunities for Campus Services areas.
Analyze survey results and other metrics as needed.
Attend special events outside of regular office hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

Need to learn ShopVox (our project management system), Adobe Creative Suite programs and work is done independently. There is direct contact and work relationships with our customers. A high level of creativity on their own, is expected. Design jobs are selected by the student out of our work queue and it is their responsibility to have that design work completed by the deadline.
