Student Assistant for ESP Department

Salary/Grade:

$9.30/hr - $10.15/hr.

Duration of Appointment:

Academic Year 2022-23

Job Summary:

  

Work closely with the Entrepreneurship Staff and Faculty to help run and support the Department of
Entrepreneurship.

Work assignments require advanced knowledge, skills, or abilities.
Some independent judgment or initiative.
A considerable knowledge of the work process as obtained through on-the-job training.
May involve supervisory responsibilities for an activity of limited scope.
May require a significant amount of physical exertion, adverse hour, or working conditions.

Essential Duties:

Work closely with the Entrepreneurship Staff and Faculty to help run and support the Department of
Entrepreneurship. Duties include, but are limited to, external reporting requirements (tracking, research,
creation), customer service, office procedures, scheduling meetings, updating calendars, filing,
organizing,
tracking data, creating marketing materials, etc. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Minimum Qualifications:

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to work a set weekly schedule for length of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and Prior Experience with the John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship
Graphic Design Experience
Prior Office Experience
Social Media Marketing Experience
