Job Title: Student Associate

8.85/hr - 9.80/hr

Job Summary:

Student Associate position(s) will provide customer service support on behalf of One Stop Services. The One Stop provides essential information in the areas of registration, financial aid, billing and payment. Position will allow students to gain applicable experience in customer service and office applications for resume building.Students will be expected to work a minimal number of hours during the academic year and must be taking classes in person (face-to-face fall attendance learning option) to be eligible for this position(s).

Minimum Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities
- This position requires a strong working knowledge of all service areas of the One Stop. Student Associates will complete a provided training program.
- Provide excellent start-to-finish customer service.
- Answer questions on the phone, by email or in person
- Assist with on campus outreach and initiatives.
- Accurately enter interactions in a ticketing database recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments as well as actions taken.
- Scan and Index documents as requested.

- Academic year - Ability to work a minimum of 10 - 12 hours per week.
- Winter term and summer semester hours are available

- Enrolled in face-to-face learning for fall semester
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Past experience in customer services/call center position is helpful.
- Sensitive to cultural diversity and ability to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
- Accuracy, dependability and confidentiality are critical.
- Ability to meet expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic, customer-oriented environment.
- Be able to work independently, possess good organization skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
