Student Assistant - Media, Journalism & Film

Salary/Grade:

Job Description Summary:

Students will be working in the MJF office and/or Equipment Checkout room answering phones, copying, filing, running errands, etc and/or responsible for issuing equipment to the MJF students and receiving returned equipment from MJF students.

Work assignments are completed under close supervision.
Procedures are well established.
Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:

Manage record keeping for audio/visual/technical equipment available for MJF student use.  Greet and help students checking out MJF equipment.  Maintain equipment room and inventory, keeping equipment organized.  May assist MJF admin in some clerical duties; such as copying, records, and inter-office errands.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimal training or prior knowledge of work is required.
