University Lecture Series

The University Lecture Series provides three to five lectures each year addressing different disciplines within the academic community.

Lecture Series strives to bring in speakers covering a broad spectrum of contemporary issues for the Miami University, Oxford, and Southern Ohio communities. Through a seminar, dinner, lecture, and public reception, Lecture Series provides access to the speakers for as many people as possible.

The Lecture Series is funded through the Student Life Council. The committee is made up of three faculty, two staff, and six student members.

Upcoming Lectures

Lectures will be held in a hybrid in-person/virtual format. Free general admission tickets will be available the Wednesday before the lecture through the Box Office for the in-person event. There will be a livestream for those who cannot/choose not to attend.
