MADE at Miami
MADE at Miami is a pre-semester program designed to help first-year students get the most out of their Miami experience. We promote qualities valued by the university community—Mentoring, Achievement, Diversity, and Excellence. MADE at Miami is open to all incoming first-year undergraduate students.
- Mentoring: Meet students, faculty, and staff who can guide you.
- Achievement: Get resources to help you succeed academically.
- Diversity: Learn about your fellow classmates and where you come from.
- Excellence: Find out how to make the most of your time at Miami.

Heritage/Cultural Month Celebrations
The center strives to celebrate students from all backgrounds. We will have programming year around and during the designated heritage months. If you are interested in collaborating on a cultural program, please contact Adelaide Johnson-Ghartey at john1854@miamioh.edu.

Horizon Senior Celebration
The Horizon Senior Celebration recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of graduating undergraduate and graduate students prior to official Commencement. The name Horizon was chosen to signify the new beginnings, opportunities, challenges, outlooks, and options facing our students at the dawn of their professional lives. Family and friends are invited to share in this special recognition of students. Any graduating student at Miami University can participate (must register in advance).
