Job Summary:

Jennifer Troutman, Assistant Director of Passport, Ryan and Grainger Scholars Program, is hiring 4-5 camp counselors for Cyber/ISA camp Wednesday, July 17, 2024 - Saturday, July 20, 2024. Cyber/ISA Camp is designed to expose top multicultural high school students to Information Systems and Cyber Security. Accepted students will participate in workshops focusing on leadership, social media, branding, teams, and professional development workshops. Students will network with businesses and recruiters who have strong relationships with the Farmer School of Business. Students will also have the opportunity to network with Miami graduates who serve as powerful leaders and innovators in their field!

Essential Duties:

Counselors must be high energy due to the nature of the program and must participate in all activities during the camp (Wednesday- Saturday mid-afternoon) Chaperones will help lead presentations, workshops, and activities throughout the three days. Camp features networking events with business school alumni and executives from various companies. Chaperones will have the opportunity to travel with the campers on corporate visits. All food and lodging will be covered at no additional cost to the chaperone. Campers will stay overnight in the residence hall. Interviews for these positions will be conducted. You will complete approximately 8 hours of pre-camp training to prepare you for your responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Farmer School of Business Student.

Students selected for the position must pass a state of Ohio fingerprinted background check.
