Job Summary:

This individual will meet and greet incoming first year students at Miami University during the orientation fair in May and June. The student will share information about study abroad opportunities and work in the office with us on various tasks preparing for the next academic year.

Essential Duties:

Week of May 20, 2024 - training for approximately 8 hours (flexible schedule)
Beginning Tuesday, May 28, 16 hours per week through at least Friday, June 28

There is some flexibility with the work schedule, but this individual must be able to work from 10:45 AM to 12:15 PM each day beginning on Tuesday, May 28 to participate in the on-campus orientation fair.

This position will be a combination of behind the scenes office tasks and supporting an information table for the Education Abroad Office. The individual in this position will answer students' questions and provide resources to students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current student at Miami University

Preferred Qualifications: Student has participated on a study abroad or internship abroad experience.
