Job Title: Associate Director of Customer Services & Sponsorships
Salary/Grade:

 $54,000 - $64,000

Job Summary:

 

Directs the Recreational Sports Center customer service area, including pro shop/salies and inventory, reception control, equipment checkout, informal recreation, reservations & membership services. Coordinates services and support to meet user group requests and special event needs.

 

Duties/Physical Demands:

Directs 1-2 Customer Service coordinator and 45-50 students (4 FTE) with direct responsibility for customer service systems and staff, membership sales, pro shop sales and inventory, daily passes, sponsorships, informal recreation, and event support.
Responsibility for revenue lines for membership, pro shop/retail, and sponsorships.
Provide weekly manager on duty and front-line positions coverage.
Oversight of content management related to customer relations, including website, phone messages, customer emails, digital and physical marketing and social media.
Responsible for recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, performance evals and disciplinary actions of student staff.
Department liaison, serve and chair internal/external committees and work teams.
Golden members programs, including Silver Sneakers, Renew Active and Silver and Fit.
Helps to oversee our satellite facilities.
Financial and Budgetary Responsibilities: Plan, develop, forecast and maintain. a budget of $1,000,000.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
Experience required 3+ years of experience in customer service, or retail
Have or complete 1st aid/CPR within 90 days of hire.

 

Desired Qualifications:

Master's Degree
Supervisory Experience
BBP Certification
ServSafe food Handlers certification
Experience working in collegiate, recreational sports environments
