Job Summary:

The University Communications and Marketing (UCM) Student Bloggers will work closely with UCM team members to develop and implement a blog to help prospective students and their families navigate Miami and the college selection process.

Essential Duties:

Student bloggers will:
Develop strategies for launching and maintaining a prospective student-focused blog.
Write authentically and produce multimedia content for the blog.
Collaborate with writers, designers, photographers, videographers, developers, and digital marketers to create strategic messages and content.
Participate in audience/market research.
Proofread digital content.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong background in written and verbal communication (lots of journalism, public relations, or English composition courses; experience interviewing people and writing news or feature-type articles; and a basic understanding of search engine optimization).

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Enthusiastic interest in communications, digital marketing, social media, and/or branding.

Photography and video skills a plus.
