Summer Scoops Tutor - Student Master 2 Undergrad in Oxford, OH
Miami University tutors will assist children in the local community improve their reading skills during 2 one-week summer camps. Miami has developed partnerships with Ridgeway Elementary in Hamilton City School District and with the Oxford Lane Library in an effort to provide support and assistance for children in grades K-3 in the areas of reading, writing, spelling, and vocabulary. No previous tutoring experience is necessary. All College of Education, Health, and Society students can apply. Applicants must commit to the 2 weeks of service. If recommended for hire by the Learning Lab, you will be required to pass a State of Ohio criminal background check before being hired. The cost of the background check will be covered by the Learning Lab.
