Job Summary:

Student assistant to work with a nursing faculty to support standardized patient simulation in the Spring of 2024 THE 224 course.

Essential Duties:

Work with students in the THE 224 course for availability for SP encounters.
Create a schedule of the SP encounters for the course.
Make changes as needed to schedule based as required.
Email students reminders of the encounter and where to report for simulation.
Email students following the encounter.

Minimum Qualifications:

Clear verbal and written communication skills
Reliable and punctual.
Takes the initiative to solve problems.
Organized and attention to detail.
Computer skills (Excel or similar program) to create an SP schedule.
Ability to maintain professionalism in communication with students in the course, various faculty, and simulation staff.

Special Instructions to Applicants:

Best fit: Junior-level student with ample time to manage the scheduling of standardized patient encounters. Working as a standardized patient is preferred but not required.
