Job Summary: |
Armstrong Student Center Ambassadors provide exemplary customer service to visitors and patrons of Miami’s campus and the Armstrong Student Center. Ambassadors offer the first impression of the Armstrong Student Center and provide centralized information to the campus and Oxford community.
Work assignments are completed under close supervision. Procedures are well established. Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures. Minimal training or prior knowledge of work is required.

Essential Duties: |
* Run the information desk for the Armstrong Student Center (ASC) by answering the phone and emails * Respond to questions from alumni, staff, students, and visitors of ASC * Ability to find answers by using resources provided (internet, maps, guides, etc.) *Oversee the study room check out process in ASC including room keys, checking people in, and reserving rooms * Assist other building staff with building operations * Log all items found and items reported lost in the building * Knowledge of the resources in the building and around campus to help aid clients in ASC

Minimum Qualifications: |
* At least one semester on campus * Previous customer service experience * Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once * Excellent communication skills * Strong problem solving skills
