Job Summary:

The Student Assistant will provide general clerical support in the daily operation of the Center for Career Exploration and Success (CCES) located in the Armstrong Student Center.

Essential Duties:

- Preparation of materials
- Front desk coverage
- Answering the phone during the lunch hour
- Greeting office visitors
- Taking complete messages
- Filing, copying, and data entry
- Monitoring appointments
- Professional Headshot Booth usage
- Other jobs as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will:
- have the ability to effectively use Word, Excel, G-Mail, Google Docs, etc.;
- have experience in the Career Center Handshake platform;
- be open-minded, interpersonally skilled, and dedicated both to the office and to the students we serve;
- possess an attitude of professionalism and maintain strict confidentiality;
- be dependable and punctual;
- have excellent organizational skills; and
- be currently enrolled undergraduate students.
