Job Summary:

University Communications and Marketing seeks an Associate Director of Enrollment Communication to guide digital communications and marketing efforts for strategic recruitment and enrollment initiatives in graduate and online programs.

As a member of the enrollment communications team within the university’s central marketing department, the associate director will develop and execute strategies that integrate best practices in omnichannel communication. Collaborating with partners across campus including the Provost’s Office, this role connects audiences around the world to Miami’s educational opportunities to increase visibility of and drive enrollment for the university’s high priority programs.

Duties/Physical Demands:

Duties will include but are not limited to:
● Strategy and execution in support of digital, social, web, and email marketing.
● Lead generation and end-to-end support of the student enrollment funnel.
● Data collection and analysis.
● Competitive landscape and market research.
● Support the broader, University-wide effort to promote non-degree programs

Minimum Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
● Five years of progressive digital marketing and communications experience.

Desired Qualifications:

● 2+ years supervisory experience
● 2+ years Higher education experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

● Strong project management skills in a deadline-driven environment with competing priorities
● Knowledge and familiarity with all a variety of existing and emerging advertising and communications opportunities across web, email, and social media platforms (including
analytics-driven content development, maintenance, and management).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

● Experience using marketing automation software to nurture prospects through the marketing funnel from initial interest to enrollment.
● Experience using web content management systems to create, edit and optimize web marketing and product content.
● Demonstrated writing skills, including the ability to communicate about a variety of subjects to diverse audiences on multiple platforms, including search-optimized titles and copy for course descriptions.
● Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with and influence diverse, high-level stakeholders.
