Job Title: Stewardship Coordinator

Job Summary:


The Stewardship Coordinator will assist with overall Stewardship processes, as well as volunteer board operations.

Duties/Physical Demands:

• Assist the scholarship thank you letter process including proof reading, preparation and mailing of thank you letters.
• Manage the annual endowment report process, which includes production and upkeep of the endowment database of information, working with designated third-party vendors for electronic delivery and production of paper reports. Trouble shooting and issue resolution will be necessary at the completion of the annual distribution.
• Assist and support University Advancement volunteer activity program by performing administrative functions, project and event coordination including volunteer recognition, correspondence and communications, database administration, data research and analysis, monitoring and tracking volunteer engagement with special focus on the coordination and training of campaign volunteers.
• Assist with monthly pledge reminder process, which entails proof reading, preparation and mailing of paper reminders and review and preparation of electronic reminders.
• Provide general administrative support for the Senior Director of Compliance and the Associate Director of Volunteer Boards.
• Oversee the notification process for in memory and in honor gifts received by the university.
• Receive and respond to donor and volunteer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Attend events as requested.
• Performs other related duties as required.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or higher
• Minimum of two years relevant experience working directly with volunteers, donors and/or customers.


Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with events, volunteers and donors.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and have excellent attention to details and accuracy.
• Proven administrative skills, with an ability to maintain efficient records management systems and operational systems.
• Sound organization and planning skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks, challenging projects and competing deadlines concurrently.
• Experience in administering schedules and/or in scheduling staff and/or volunteers.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively and easily with a broad range of people, both internal and external to the University, in a professional and ethical manner.
• Experience working with a range of people from different backgrounds/cultures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in written and oral communications.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets (Word, Excel, Google).
• Must have professional interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse constituencies.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
