Food & Beverage - Student Assistant



Job Summary:

Starbucks at Shriver Center is looking for new students to join our Food & Beverage Team. $13.00 starting age and opportunities for promotion.

Support full-time staff by serving customers at each coffee station.
Operate the point-of-sale system at the front of the house.
Assist with stocking food, coffee, and supplies at the back of house.
Assist with operational cleaning.

Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the venue and customers for cues.
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Commit to a minimum of 6 work hours per week.
Deliver quality customer service, with a focus on connecting with customers.
Display the ability to adhere to all recipe and presentation standards.
Display knowledge of the values of Miami University and Starbucks.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Provide quality products consistently for all customers.
Strong sense of teamwork and accountability.
Willingness to learn new duties and grow professionally.

Hours of operations:

All hired employees must complete an I9 form with Human Resources at Roudebush Hall and present identification such as a birth certificate, social security card, passport, etc. Applicants will be contacted by Student Employment upon hiring with more information about the required identification for I9 forms. Minimum Qualifications: 

Work assignments are completed under close supervision.
Procedures are well established.
Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures.
Minimal training or prior knowledge of work is required.
