Job Title: Director of Integrated Technology
Job Summary:

Director of Integrated Technology leads the strategic and operational IT support for the College of Creative Arts. Partners with the Dean, Chairs, faculty and staff to provide flexible, reliable, and consistent IT services that meet the needs of the college. Partners with academic IT leaders and staff as well as central IT.

Duties/Physical Demands:

The Director of Integrated Technology Work collaboratively with faculty, staff and chairs in the College of Creative Arts to assess, research and advance their technology needs in regard to accreditation, technology shifts, grant writing proposals, and other needs as requested; oversee CCA's overall IT budget, including budget planning and oversight, as well as working closely with the Student Tech Fee Program and award recipients; resolve complex hardware and software installations and issues for specialty equipment; manage all CCA IT systems, devices, space, labs and learning spaces, software and hardware including ensuring proper lifecycle management, identifying and implementing new solutions, inventory, documentation, standardization, updates, and maintenance; partner with central IT and Miami's IT Help support desk to ensure that technical support and IT needs for CCA are met; manage CCA student IT employees; Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and five years of IT support experience. This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in art technology, computer science or related field; five or more years of experience providing IT support or in a related role; experience leading or managing an IT support organization or team; experience managing an IT budget and/or inventory; proven experience understanding technology directions of change in a curriculum-based setting including identifying technology based solutions to complex problems.
