Job Title:

Student Assistant


$8.90/hr - $9.65/hr

Job Summary:

Work assignments are completed under close supervision.
Procedures are well established.
Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures.
Perform water rescues to include backboarding, passive and active rescues.
Perform CPR. Ventilations and First Aid (to include inline stabilization, apply ice and bandages).
Enforce rules and regulations designed for safe use of the Aquatic Center.
Perform Blood Borne Pathogen clean up.
Complete accident and incident reports.
Provide safe swimming environment by enforcing rules, policies and responding to aquatic emergencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certified in American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED and First Aid or Equivalent will need to be crossed over.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications
