Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D in Economics for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor by date of appointment or Master’s degree for appointment as Assistant Lecturer.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with a commitment to excellence in teaching high quality courses in Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Money and Banking, and upper-level courses; commitment to excellence in teaching large sections of each course (Principles, Money and Banking); commitment to pedagogic innovation; or demonstrated enthusiasm for undertaking student-centered service responsibilities such as academic and extracurricular advising; student advising experience.
