Job Title:

Assistant/Associate Professor

Job Summary:

Teach courses in biomedical and clinical engineering; carry out high quality scholarly work; attract external funding from state, federal, or industrial entities; provide academic advising; conduct and supervise student research; and provide service to the institution and the profession.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or closely related field by date of appointment. Appointment as Associate Professor requires a proven record of accomplishment in research, expertise in collegiate level teaching and comparable industry expertise in biomedical and clinical engineering fields.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with experience or training in medical devices development and/or familiarity with regulatory affairs or an education in clinical engineering or translational clinical/hospital research.
