Job Title: Student Office/Front Desk Assistant Career Services & Professional Development - Regionals
Salary/Grade:

$8.70/hr - $9.65/hr

Job Summary: Seeking Student Assistants to support the Career Services & Professional Development offices on the Middletown & Hamilton campuses. Provide excellent front line customer service and support for students, faculty, staff, and community.
Essential Duties/Physical Demands:

Responsibilities:

Clerical functions with the ability to operate office equipment
Answer incoming calls, greet visitors and students for appointments or walk-ins
Work assignments assigned and completed under close supervision
Procedures are well established
Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures
Assist professional office staff as needed
Other duties as assigned to meet departmental needs
Student employees will work under the direction of the Regional Director and Assistant Director.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Qualifications Required:

Must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours at Miami University Regionals during the academic year
Must have a minimum 2.50 GPA
Confidentiality is a must to comply with Federal Privacy laws
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Docs, and willing to learn other software programs
Appropriate verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and work from verbal or written instructions
Dependable and creative
Must be appropriately dressed to represent a professional work environment
Will work around students course schedule, but must have some availability Monday – Thursday, between the hours of 11am – 4pm
