Job Summary:


The Student Case Manager is responsible for processing COVID-19 student reports. The Student Case Manager is a key member of the MU COVID19 Student Response Team. They manage the intake process in the case management system, TeamDynamix. The role requires working in a highly collaborative manner with various senior leaders and managers across university departments.


Duties/Physical Demands:

- Serve as primary recipient of COVID-19 student self reports.
- Screen and prioritize incoming reports for assignment.
- Utilize TeamDynamix database to process and assign student cases.
- Communicate with reporters, intake colleagues, and students.
- Serve as an employee liaison/point-of-contact to students reported, as needed.
- Ensure that required information regarding students who have tested positive for COVID-19 are reported to Butler County General Health Department.
- Work with the Assistant Dean of Students to troubleshoot issues.
- Assist the Office of the Dean of Students team with various administrative assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
- Prior customer service experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through various modes (telephone, email, in-person, etc.)
- Collaborative, team player.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct high-volume data processing using spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.
