Student Assistant

Salary/Grade:

$8.70/hr - $9.65/hr

Job Summary:

Work assignments are completed under close supervision.
Procedures are well established.
Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures.
Minimal training or prior knowledge of work is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

 Must have a strong customer service mindset
 Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
 Confidentiality of written and verbal information a must
 Very solid understanding of Microsoft Office programs – Word and Excel
 Expert telephone etiquette
 Organizational skills, work in an efficient manner, and able to prioritize tasks
 Capable of working calmly while under stress and time pressure
 Be able to be productive working independently or as part of a team
 Willing to run errands across campus as necessary

Do not apply if you are an EALC, German, or REEES major or a senior.

Position is for the fall 2020 (202110) semester and if work is satisfactory that semester, will continue until graduation or voluntary withdrawal from employment.

Applicants must be available to work during the fall '20 semester any combination of the following shifts: M 1pm-5pm, T 10am-12pm, W 1pm-3pm, and/or F 8am-10am.

Phone Interviewing will begin around the week of July 27-31, 2020 with a decision being made by August 10, 2020.
